It gives me immense pleasure to write this message as the President of GOGS (2025-26). It is an honor to serve this community of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to improve the health and well-being of women and newborns.

Over the past years, our society has taken meaningful steps to promote education, collaboration, and innovation in obstetrics and gynecology. From academic conferences to hands-on workshops, we have focused on enhancing knowledge, sharing experiences, and supporting one another in our professional journeys.

I am grateful to all members for their active participation and commitment. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn and share have been the driving force behind our progress. GOGS‘ growth trajectory reflects the hard work, unity, and passion of our society.

As obstetricians and gynecologists, we are entrusted with one of the most delicate and meaningful responsibilities in medicine—the care of mothers and the safe arrival of a new life. This year, our society has continued to place safe motherhood at the heart of our endeavors. Whether through clinical excellence, continuous education, or community outreach, our focus will be to ensure dignity, safety, and compassion for pregnancy and childbirth through academic programs, skill-enhancing workshops, and awareness drives that reflect our shared commitment to improving maternal and newborn outcomes.
